Luka Modrić

The Champion event in DLS honors the most unforgettable seasons in football history, and Luka Modrić's 2018 card is a perfect example. That year was an absolute dream for him. He helped Real Madrid win their third Champions League trophy in a row and led the Croatia national team all the way to the World Cup final. After winning the World Cup Golden Ball and the Ballon d'Or, DLS gave him this special 86-rated Champion card to celebrate his peak as the best midfielder in the world.

On the virtual pitch, this CM card isn't about raw speed or physical power—it's all about pure magic in the midfield. Standing at 172 cm with the rare 'Both' foot ability, he can pass, turn, and create chances flawlessly with either foot. His playmaking stats are elite right from the start, featuring an insane 95 Passing and 92 Control. While his 66 Strength and 77 Shooting might not blow you away, his 85 Stamina, 83 Acceleration, and 76 Tackling make him a very hard-working player who can run the game and help out your defense.

While Champion cards are usually packed with goal-scoring attackers like Messi and Ronaldo, Modrić brings something totally different to your squad. He is the ultimate midfield boss. If you love playing a possession-based game with smooth passing, this card is exactly what you need. With his elite vision and two-footed gameplay, this 2018 Modrić card is a beautiful tribute to his historic year and a must-have for managers who want total control in the middle of the park.
